All staff must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, or be willing to obtain one before working with clients. Safeguarding and trust are central to our service.
Team members must understand safeguarding principles and be confident responding calmly and responsibly to situations that may arise during travel support.
Experience in social care, support work, education, youth services or similar roles is highly valued. We welcome individuals who have worked with people with additional needs.
Support workers must communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, families, colleagues and external professionals at all times.
Our service promotes independence. Staff should encourage individuals to make choices, build confidence and participate actively in their own travel experiences.
Accurate reporting and professional record keeping are essential. Staff must maintain clear and timely documentation in line with our service framework.
